Whiteknights Yorkshire Blood Bike have this weekend launched into service a BMW 330e car supplied by Stratstone BMW Harrogate.
The car has been named in honour of Captain Sir Tom Moore and will be used for operational duties in the North Yorkshire Regional area.
North Yorkshire Regional Manager for Whiteknights, Martin Benson commented: “We are extremely grateful to Stratstone BMW and BMW UK for supporting the vital work we continue to do during the pandemic.
“The provision of this vehicle will reinforce our commitment to urgently transfer blood specimens and medical supplies, out-of-hours, free of charge for the NHS in all weather conditions. It seemed only fitting that Captain Sir Tom Moore be commemorated by Whiteknights at this time.”
